Vinyl records are here to stay! Helsinki Record Pressing (Helsingin Levypuristamo) or simply Puristamo, is a start-up vinyl pressing plant in Helsinki, Finland. That makes us the northmost pressing plant on earth by the way.
We have started pressing records in early 2023 with two automatic Pheenix Alpha AD12 presses, having monthly capacity of tens of thousands of records.
Climate change is a fact. Therefore, our goal is to be as sustainable as possible. We use only renewable, carbon neutral energy sources like biogas and wind power. Additionally, we will recycle the waste heat of the pressing process to the district heating network of Helsinki.
